MISS ELLIE's Biography

MISS ELLIE is the founder of Miss Ellie Network, a publishing brand that specializes in multiple genres, including fiction, non-fiction, coloring books, journals, activity books, homeschooling, and curricula.
A former student of the Children's Institute of Literature (previously located in Redding Ridge, CT) and a December 2025 mini-grant recipient, MISS ELLIE has two grown children whose childhoods lend inspiration to her writing. Living in New England with her husband and their pet dragon,* Boof McBrayer, she enjoys traveling and learning new things.
Since MISS ELLIE is full of curiosity, she has a wide range of personal and professional interests and a good understanding of many things. Vocation-retired, she spent the last years of her career as a General Manager, Administrator, and Human Resources professional.
MISS ELLIE has also served as an Instructor for the WorkReadyNH Program. Course modules include soft skills such as Personal Profiles, Showcasing Your Skills, Employer Expectations, Communication Strategies, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Building Better Teams, Critical Elements of Customer Service, Conflict Resolution, Business Ethics, Safety in the Workplace, Workplace Sensitivity, and Personal Brand.
Curious about Artificial Intelligence, MISS ELLIE took an online class with the Superhuman AI Academy and achieved an AI Workplace Proficiency Certification. You will encounter some AI-generated work within her publications.
An inaugural member of The Keene Sentinel Community Advisory Board, the board is committed to an informed public, robust local news coverage, and suggesting ways coverage can be improved. The Sentinel has a rich history as a daily newspaper, dating back to March 23, 1799.
